Why this site exists

Immigration points rules are legislation, and legislation changes on commencement dates — several times a year across these programs. Most of the calculators that rank for these searches don't keep up: they award points that were removed, use pass marks from a superseded instrument, or hide the breakdown behind an email form so you can't tell where a figure came from. When the topic is someone's migration plan, stale is not a small problem.

We take the opposite position on both counts. Scores are instant and ungated — no email, no phone number, no "unlock your report" wall — and every criterion shows its contribution next to a link to the official source it's drawn from. How we verify the rules

Every points value, threshold, and pass mark on the site lives in one place as structured data, and each entry carries the official instrument it came from and the date we last checked it. Nothing is typed into an article by hand. When we research a program, page-one summaries are only a starting map — the figures themselves are confirmed against the primary source: the legislation, the ministerial instruction, or the government department's own published table.

• Official sources win. Where a popular calculator and the legislation disagree, the legislation is what we publish — and we say what the common version gets wrong.
• One source, no drift. The calculator, the on-page tables, and the "rules verified" line all read from the same data, so they can never quietly disagree with each other.
• Changes are logged. When a rule changes we update the data, note the commencement date, and record it in the page's changelog rather than silently editing the number.

What we are not

We are an independent publisher, not a migration agent, and we are not affiliated with any government or immigration authority. Nothing here is immigration advice, and a result from one of our calculators is an estimate to orient you — not a decision about your eligibility. Your circumstances can turn on details a calculator never sees, so confirm anything that matters against the official source, and get advice from a registered migration professional before you act.
